Tina joined Triplejump head office as the Training and Design Specialist in July 2014. During her academic career she achieved a Masters in Education, Bachelor of Science, and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Small Business and Entrepreneurship. During her career she has been involved in establishing and operating a number of small businesses in the Service and the Tourism sectors. Alongside her business interests Tina worked in the Education sector for 15 years. In her previous role as Deputy Principal she led many initiatives including coaching staff.
Tina’s passion for business and education led to the development of a Business Academy to enable young people to develop and utilise business skills in a safe and supportive environment. Another of her passions is teaching global entrepreneurship. After a trip to China, sponsored by AsiaNZ, she has developed a programme in Global Entrepreneurship that will be trialled in some New Zealand schools in 2014. Tina is also steering an initiative, supported by the Commission for Financial Literacy and Retirement, with nine local schools and Massey University implementing Financial Literacy into the New Zealand education system.
Working at the Triplejump Head Office will enable Tina to utilise her experience and skills from both the education and business sectors.
